Last year I came by chance to one, lucky for me a gift.
A couple from Rheinhessen, which renovated the home, wanted to be an old, really old wall separating. The house is to be the oldest in Rheinhessen, according to estimates.
The wall was extended to mid-17th Century. (1647) estimated. We were then very lovingly by the owners of this precious time out about events - which has since opened all - alone in the house area - incredible!
Sun, but now the Ziegelsteienn that wall - we have loaded about 150 of these old stones and we wanted them again to give a "new home".
But time passes and in our carport for they were stored well.
My better half wanted to build a raised bed for a long time for the vegetable garden.
Under threat of severe sanctions, he led home to his fate and has now largely completed ......: o)) ... now comes from our good earth pig Crumbs (God rest her soul) and then the next season vegetables come ......:: o))
I'm looking forward to it!

For me it's next to "tradition" of our meeting the Rheinhessen-girls in the fall is a wonderful end of summer.
